🎼 Melodies of Praise
Mrs. Lovley is an exceptional teacher. She has taught each of our four boys at different levels for the past ten years. She is thorough in her approach to teaching. Not only have the boys learned to play the instrument, but they have studied music theory as well. One of our sons is now playing at college and successfully passed the AP Music Theory Exam. Mrs. Lovley is able to see what level the student is playing at and bring them up to the next level. Our boys have been taught to play various genres and styles of music. They have been encouraged to study pieces they are interested as well. Our family has greatly benefited from Mrs. Lovely’s teaching.

I am thrilled with Tracy Lovley who was referred through MusiKey. I am finally starting to grasp theory after six years. My playing has improved tremendously. I highly recommend Tracy Lovley's Piano Studio.

Questions Parents & Students Often Ask
🎵 Piano and Kids
When should my child begin piano lessons?
Most kids are ready around ages 4-5 or older. If your child can sight read, focus for a half-hour and use their hands comfortably, they’re likely ready to start.
🎶 It’s Never Too Late
Do you offer lessons for adults?
Yes! Adults are welcome at any level, whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to the piano after years away.
🎹 Getting Started at Home
Is it necessary to own a piano before starting?
Students will need their own instrument for practice at home. There are many affordable keyboards and pianos available, and I’m happy to help you choose the best option..
⏱️ Finding the Right Fit
What’s the ideal length for a lesson?
Young students (ages 4–7) generally benefit most from 30-minute lessons. Older teens and adults often prefer 45 or 60 minutes for more in-depth study. Families with multiple players can also schedule back-to-back lessons for convenience.
⭐ Practice Made Simple
How much practice time is recommended?
Short, regular practice sessions work best—just 5 to 10 minutes daily can make a big difference. A consistent routine (like right after school or before dinner) helps build steady progress, and I’ll help create a practice plan that works for your family.
📅 Can I book a meet-and-greet before committing?
Definitely! You’re welcome to schedule a free meet-and-greet before getting started. Just reach out by email, phone, or through the contact form on my website, and we’ll find a time that works.
